Understanding Your Application Status
When checking for one’s application status, the following types of messages may be encountered:
- Approved: The application was successful, and the payment is now being processed.
- Pending: The application is under review. So at this point, no more action is required from you.

In case an application is declined, the appeal must be submitted through the official SASSA SRD portal. You will be required to provide reasons for your appeal and substantiate them with documents.
